Stake back and invest elsewhere. Still have a fair win on him. He's surely not going to go as low as Jedward did at one point.
Report jack12321 October 10, 2010 9:28 PM BST
Bit early to lay off, could be the start of a momentum move for him. I'm keeping my 40k green on him for now
Report Cider October 10, 2010 9:29 PM BST
Unlike Jedward, the market will surely never believe he has a genuine chance?
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 9:32 PM BST
WagnerLove
Report George Bailey October 10, 2010 10:05 PM BST
Yeah I nibbled at 300 and 320 as I knew he wouldn't go tonight.  As usual I will be greedy and hang on to it for too long. Timing is everything.
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 10:07 PM BST
Do you still have a 40k green jack? Laugh
Report jack12321 October 10, 2010 10:12 PM BST
Yes GB, if he gets through another week the public will start to take to him as the underdog I reckon Grin not worth getting off at this price.

You got much left on him?
Report charliebigpotatoes October 10, 2010 10:14 PM BST
A friend just pointed to me Cowell carefully didn't slag off Wagner yesterday - which is a bad thing - anti-Cowell gave us a RATM number 1!
Report George Bailey October 10, 2010 10:14 PM BST
Just £1100 green. I play for fun. I see he's drifting again anyway.
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 10:15 PM BST
Few grand. Down from 25. Only 4k of that was backs though
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 10:16 PM BST
I think he's great, but like mentioned above, no one will think he can win, unlike jedward
Report George Bailey October 10, 2010 10:18 PM BST
oops wrong GB.. novelty will wear off quicker I think with him than Jedward.
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 10:22 PM BST
Not much to wear off at these prices tho
Report jack12321 October 10, 2010 10:45 PM BST
I'm adding at 200's if anyone wants to lay Grin

Fast becoming my biggest ever green
Report johnnyrant October 10, 2010 10:53 PM BST
I'm in with you here jack - piled into Wagner & Diva Fever at big prices. Dilemma of when to lay now...? In a way, they are fighting over the same ground - novelty acts.
Report jack12321 October 10, 2010 10:58 PM BST
True JR, but at these prices you can be on both and only need one to come good. Wagner getting through tonight has definitely sparked some momentum as seems the bet at the moment, Diva Fever not so much.
Report johnnyrant October 10, 2010 11:02 PM BST
good call jack - can definitely see some momentum building. One of them could go a long, long way. As you say, keep both, one comes good - in a better laying position overall down the line (in theory). Good luck Grin
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 11:03 PM BST
I wouldn't touch Diva Fever with yours
Report charliebigpotatoes October 10, 2010 11:06 PM BST
I think they'll make him this year's comedy act and his price will come in...
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 11:09 PM BST
'make him' ? Laugh
Report johnnyrant October 10, 2010 11:09 PM BST
DivaFever are perfect in this Glee environment GB. They should get a a decent vote for a good few weeks yet. They can sing ok.
Report jack12321 October 10, 2010 11:10 PM BST
Last 4 years of X factor...

2006 - McDonald Brothers
2007 - Same difference
2008 - No duet in finals
2009 - John and Edward
2010 - ...?
Report charliebigpotatoes October 10, 2010 11:10 PM BST
There ya go GB - doesn't need much of a push. Think I 'll let it ride!

I reckon he got about 3-4% this week so could be in for a few weeks yet given the dross in the show...
Report GeorgeBrush October 10, 2010 11:12 PM BST
certainly
Report Guybrush Threepwood October 11, 2010 7:38 AM BST
Wagner may have have a chance on being the novelty act to go pretty far but there is one problem .... Mary Byrne. If the public wanted an underdog to do well they probably will choose Mary rather than Wagner.
Report GeorgeBrush October 11, 2010 8:42 AM BST
I don't think we're hoping Waggy can win Guy

Mary, of course can. She will have her own solid fan base, and is far from a novelty act.

I think he'll bump along the bottom of the percentages tbh, but doing enough to survive. Jedward were close to going virtually every week, when the perception was they were doing very well
Report GeorgeBrush October 11, 2010 8:43 AM BST
*every week in fact, not virtually
Report charliebigpotatoes October 11, 2010 8:43 AM BST
I just re-watched Wagner's performance. If he came up himself with a performance that was "She Bangs" flipping into "Love Shack" with a bongo solo in-between - this guys's gonna be entertaining us for a few weeks yet...
Report GeorgeBrush October 11, 2010 8:49 AM BST
I think all of Louis's efforts when into him and he forgot about John Laugh
Report GeorgeBrush October 11, 2010 8:49 AM BST
Looking forward to the next Wag like. He can do much more
