I was being too dismissive of Mr Bojangles just because it's not the easy melody that XF audiences are used to (and singers other than Sammy D.J. and Nina Simone tend not to sing it well imo).
However if John does it well I'm sure he'll get huge judges' praise. Difficult song. |
