This will be very interesting. Over the last few weeks, there have been various internet murmurings, and public appearances which would only make sense if Treyc and Marlon were through. I did act on them a while ago, but accepted it was just a punt.

As for Tom - he has critised X Factor in his local paper, he's not through.

As usual too much sentimental attachment on my part. Gamu was worth the 12's I backed her at. I have no idea what the producers are up to putting Weasel through.
I also do not know what the producers have against Gamu.  I can see another boy going through I can see TrayC going through. Surely we cannot have another boy band and we cannpt have an escapee from the freak show.

I can't see the producers wanting Cheryl's judgement to be shown up. My heart wants Gamu so much yet my head says they have got it in for her.

I cannot guess. Top of the class to Simon and your his mass psychology advisors- you manipulative bstds.

BTW its not just my alien tastes she has got the second highest internet hits. Chers got many more hits but her approval rating is plumetting and Gamu is consistently getting way over 95%  positives.

melv - it's just a clever way of getting people taking about the show. Like the whole Jedward thing last year. It is x factor's raison d'etre to ramp up coverage. The big talking point on Twitter right now - Katie chosen over Gamu, I'm so angry, blah, blah, blah. Surprise, surprise, there is a twist, next week's wildcard. Set up entirely so Gamu can go through.
The GBP being played for emotional sheep. The show is a pantomime.
Katie is going to be one of those hated finalists that will probably keep getting through purely to crank up even more coverage. All the people who choose to enter X Factor are played. It is exploitative beyond belief. The scariest thing is, how viewers get reeled in by it, take everything Cowell says as gospel, and believe it is a genuine talent contest.

Its a ruthless way of grtting people talking about the show.

And it has all worked brilliantly.I think Simon might have outdone the Jedward hoo haa.

It's still served its purpose - generated heat around the show, a talking point... like when Cowell saved Jedward over Lucie last year having slaughtered them previously. It's all as transparent as hell and Cowell is the ringmaster.

providing gamu ends up going through....otherwise she could well be snapped up and go head to head against the x factor winner at christmas...for starters.
