Cher's uncle (aged 34) has just died.  Obviously she's not in a very good way, nor her family and they've had to pull out of various interviews and engagements.

This could explain yesterday's drift, as well as Matt's new prominence in the market.

Seeing she has been 3/1, 7/2 for the past few weeks the firms are unlikely to have taken much out of her at those odds and over the weekend it has become apparent that she has plenty of competition and might not be up to the rigours of what lies ahead.

I was just chatting to the Lads compiler, he said some nutter called Melv walked into one of their shops and put 10K on her. He accepted it but feels he can't take any more. [;)]
