well it counts in that the vote is not r igged or f ixed, but they are being manipulated by cowell and various different methods designed to get you to vote in a certain way. and this year, its all geared to the boyband winning

layprof - you do realise that the TV channels were heavily fined in the past for attempting to ignore actual votes - google it if not.

It isn't fixed and they publish the independently monitored vote totals every year, but they do of course manipulate it by simply manipulating the masses (ie braindeads) who vote.

The whole structure is flawed, when the judges talk about themselves as winning,when Cowell says we are looking for the next Justin Bieber, Oleary asks Usher what advice do you give the young talent on the show, Mary, Wagner, Storm, TrayC etc must be well miffed. Some of the best singers went home long before boot camp, the very fact that they have categorys enables boot camp fodder to progress, the good thing is that if you ignore the singing and narrow it down to personalities you can make money looking at the value. FYD 27's and Storm even at 9/2 on Saturday stood out, Im getting down off my soap box now.
