Also the dreaded Scotish vote. I am well aware that she could go the same way as the Welsh bird last year. I also think Simon wants a white girl.

gamu is def contemporary..She is soulful..That is always in existence in music..How many younger soulful black singers do we have..Hardly any

I thought she did a great version of that sunshine song and with good writers, She can be like a nina simone type person..But you can't really compare artists to artist..Think she got great dramatic facial expression and has a personality performing..That is a rare thing..It seems very natural for her.

Her winning is I guess the point of all this.But that is all determined so probs not banking on her to win..But she really should be gttin to the end even if it is all pre determined

Is she the best singer ever on Xfactor. She is more versatile than Leona and she has more personality.

Some amazing singer like Ollie Murs could beat Gamu. Or a group like JLS. Unforunatly she may very well be too good for xfactor as indeed was Vickers. Highly talented in a differnt way to Gamu.

I just hope the "She's a good singer" vote the non threatening famale vote,( may be considered too clever by half , posh and stuck up for some females.They may go against her), the "fair play the most talented must win" vote, the family values vote and the entire Scottish nation all vote for her.

The "I love Olly" or (whoever Cheryl says is sexy)vote blows Gamu away everytime.

I cannot see Simon making her the chosen one. Too many black girl singers dispite the fact her sheer ability gives her a kind of uniquness as did Leonas. Simon will criticise her and may upset her. Simon may also ensure she gets awful song choices then blasts her for it. I just want to hear to sing as many songs as possible. I consider my couple of quid @ 10/1 a lost bet. I did it for love.

We must rememeber that evn Susan Boyle did not win her show. Possible the most sucessful contest on one of these shows ever. Who beat her? some cute males dancing. I loved them but Subo is an amazing phenomena. How did that happen. Ok the press reported that she was bonkers. All that show is how fickle the great british public are.

I think that this girl is overall a better performer than Boyle. I would not buy Boyles records but I did like the stones cover she did. Gamu could be anything.

On the other hand Scotland got Michelle Mcmanus through Pop idol against all the odds. Michelle is another good singer . I think that Gamu is better, more unique and overall a much better package. Leon was a cute Male so he does not count. Any female no matter how talented has problems against cute males. If Gamu was a cute male she would be odds on already. So come on Scotland the brave lets get the most talented and technically best contestant on the winners podium. It'll be massive effort. Worth it though. I'd never heard of the Wee county before Gamu can put ot on the world Map.

Gamu is now due to pass one Million hits any minute.

I do not think she will win though I cannot see anyone else coming along with more talent. IMO she is the best singer ever on one of these.

To win this you need to improve in performance and likability and you need Simon to sell you to the GBP.
She can improve on performance. Consistently brilliant counts as improve as in “That’s the the 4th week that you have been consistently brilliant”. However; say she does an Andrew Garcia style world beating version of a standard say er “I got life” the judges could them beat her up with it for the rest of the show. You know,
the old; “Good but not as good as “I got”; torpedo.

Likability; can easily improve from here.

On the other hand I can also see the;
too clever by half, goody goody Afro-Scottish princess, “guaranteed a career anyway”; hate line being used against her.

Does Simon want her? Does he want a white girl? Does he want a group? This is the big question. If he does he gets an act classier than Leona.

But he may think; where’s the celebrity gold dust in jazz and gospel and anyway she’ll never be as sexy as Cheryl.

No I had forgot her. BstdActually I hope you where not paying attention over the Andrew Garcia fiasco; which was probably my worst ever. Never laid one penny off waiting for his moment and he just got worse. I still think there is still miles more to come from him. But he absolutaly lost his mojo.

It is so posible that Gamu could go the way of many of my other loves. Unfortunatly I think she is the best one of the lot.A very bad sign. First the bad news "Where will you sleep this Christmas" an original song written by her teacher for Gamu has been removed from youtube. It shows a side to Gamus voice
not seen in other songs. Its absolutely beautiful such as shame its gone.

The good news is I have found another of Gamus songs. The style is similar to "Where will you sleep" If it was not for this similarity I would doubt it was Gamu.

True George, in XF ugliness is more forgiven in the old, but I think her singing ability more than compensates (and she has a certain puppy fat cuteness anyway).
