Can only see a Columbia win here. They are the only team really playing well in the tournament at the moment and they look a lot more solid than the Brazil team who are playing under a huge amount of pressure and expectations.

I've backed them at 7/2 in the outright market, 15/2 btts Columbia win, 15/2 -1 goal and 35/1 -2 goals.

What's everyone's opinion on tomorrow nights game?

brazil never been value, lost some laying them to qualify v chile (painful), will keep laying them as still value (can't be like France in 98 can they? at least france had good defence)

4/1 on here is a massive price for a Colombia win - this Brazil team is very average

Unlucky booksseller that's a sore one to take. Especially with chile hitting the bar close to the end. I believe Brazil are very average whereas the Columbians confidence is sky high at the moment. Obviously I have went slightly overboard with the -2 but had to fire something on at that price. GL will all your bets on the game folks.

this is the entire problem with basing assessment on past performances - it can be easily skewed

yes, Brazil have looked average and the price may look skinny but there is nothing to stop them coming out and taking a 2-0 lead early

in play trading for me, pre-off judgements could easily be way off

I doubt if the Columbian players will really truly believe they can beat and knock out Brazil in their own back yard. Brazil to win WC for me.

The pressure on Brazil is too much for such an average team to bear.
They may come unstuck against a confident Columbia team.

I'd say that a lay of Brazil is possibly the best approach, and it's what I've done, but Judo is also correct: the first ten minutes will be critical.

If Colombia come out with a swagger and Brazil continue to disappoint, I can see the pre-match odds being made to look ridiculous. But if after the first stretch it emerges that Colombia are struggling to get/keep the ball, they may start to get a little nervous. I expect Pekerman to play a five-man midfield to limit this.

I could do with Columbia winning

if not, scoring the first goal would do
