After the pathetic performaces in the current and previous world cups isnt it time we realised we are 2nd rate.
With great nations, Greece, Costa Rica and Nigeria qualifying for the second stage whilst we are packing our bags,it really shows how far we have sunk.
At least we can put our blinkers on and watch the "English"premier league and tell the world how great it is,even though there are only 28% of English players playing in it.
There lies the problem.

England might be 2nd rate but they did beat brazil at wembley in a friendly and got a 2-2 against them over there last year in another friendly. for whatever reason they cant do it in the competitive games. is it bottle? only the players know for sure

englands problem is that the media hype them up to be world class and the players overestimate themselves.
guys like Gerrard, rooney and Lampard actually believe themselves to be much better that they really are. the cold hard facts are that if you add in the 2 friendly games in Miami before the WCup.. england failed to win a single game in 5 matches, and failed to beat the mighty powerhouses of honduras and costa rica who england failed to score a single goal against .... in 5 games they scored 4 goals the fact that roy hodgson gets to keep his job and contantly spouts all this building for the future with these bright young players nonsense means that England will fail again in euro 2016 and WC 2018 its about the here and now... not what happens in the future... the FA should be disbanded and a new organisation should take its place.. england are a laughing stock |
