What I can't understand is how Portugal (270) are lower odds than Ghana (300) outright.
Both of those can only qualify if USA lose, but Portugal have a 5 goal deficit, Ghana a 3 goal deficit. e.g. Germany beat USA 1-0, then Portugal must beat Ghana 4-0. Ghana would need to beat Portugal 2-0. |
