Suarez's sheer delight at beating England and his contempt for the english media will mean a move to Spain is imminent imo.
Pause Switch to Standard View Will they still love him on Merseyside ?

might go and play in iceland instead.

Only a cretin of the highest order would begrudge him that moment. Playing for his country with their backs against the wall having lost to the so called easy beats of the group, he scores a brace and late winner to beat England and keep his country alive. Anything less than that outpouring of emotion and I would be asking what is wrong. Should take him back with open arms and be thankful a player of that quality is willing to play in your country when Spain surely, for many reasons must hold ultimate appeal.

His name is Suarez, he wears the famous Red
I just can't get enough, I just can't get enough
When he scores a volley or when he scores a head
I just cant get enough, I just can't get enough
He scores a goal and the Kop go wild
And I just can't seem to get enough Suarez
Do-do-do-do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do-do-do-do
Luis Suarez!

every fan in england is wishing he was coming back to their team for next season.

Unless my memory is failing, was he not the devil incarnate as far as most of English soccer supporters ( in the broad sense) some years ago . Just possible he does not particularly like England as a country .

It would be ironic if he went to Spain , guess he might have trouble getting on a plane  to there , must be all full of disappointed Spaniards trekking home  .  What plonkers they looked .

After scoring twice to leave England on the brink of World Cup elimination, Three Lions fans are calling for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to be DEPORTED. Cry
Report johnnyrant June 20, 2014 3:28 PM BST
They are clearly not England fans; more like BNP morons, & they're the ones who should be deported.
Report kincsem June 20, 2014 7:20 PM BST
No problem.  Everyone likes to see a good player in action.
Report OnePercenter June 20, 2014 7:28 PM BST
Liverpool fans are desperate for him to stay. Without him they'd do worse than United with Moyes.

Er, no.

I want United to play great attacking football next season but I don't want divers playing for us. I don't want the reputation of the club to be tarnished. I want us to win fairly.
Report Java June 20, 2014 7:44 PM BST
Come on.  Suarez is one of the to 5 players in the world.  Are you saying Man Utd players don't dive?  Ashley Young?
Report gitwizard June 20, 2014 9:10 PM BST
Liverpool will be praying he wants to stay, a move to Spain - yeah why not, if I was him I'd move to Spain, Italy, Germany whoever offers the most - it's about MONEY not loyalty... duh!

obviously not man united then as they have most of the worst divers in the EPL. (Young, Welbeck etc)

considering they have always had serial divers (giggs, butt, beckham etc) then it is a bit much to complain about other teams diving.

Ahn Jung-Hwan was sacked by Perugia after scoring the goal that knocked Italy out of the World Cup. They quickly changed their mind as I suspect they realised how stupid they looked. However, by then it was too late.
Report Homer Simpson June 21, 2014 8:36 AM BST
Best time to sell him. He is world class against weak teams.Like a good horse beating trees. He might not fare so well in the CL. His price can only go down playing in the Premiership alongside Sturridge,Sterling and the other superstars in LFC.

It will be interesting to see if Uruguay can beat Italy convincingly and how he gets on in later matches. There is a lot of hype there after the England debacle.
