I said it before the last World Cup,same applies now.Plenty of examples,Argentina 2-0 up concede two goals direct from corners in the 1986 World Cup Final,Barnes' wing play and corner against Argentina,Hursts near post header against Argentina in 66 semi etc etc,
i can spot it why cant managers who are paid millions spot it?.Oh by the way, England v Brazil World Cup 8 years ago?,our corner, taken short, passed back,Brazil defence moves out,we pass it back to our player on the half-way line, who lobs it down the middle, and with no england player around [trying not to get caught offside] the brazil goalie didnt even have to move to make a clean catch.
Wheres the point?!!!.Brazil v Turkey was the following match.Turkey spend the whole match going down the middle,no success. One minute from time Turkish player runs down the wing and crosses,no Turkish forward anywhere around,BUT the Brazilian defenders stood there looking at each other,SUDDENLY mass panic, one  and hooks it into touch.
And all the brazilian defenders stood there nearly exchanging blows, certainly screaming at each other. And thats when there was no opposing players anywhere to be seen.An obvious weakness that managers need to exploit, but dont seem to see it.
Does anybody have an opinion on this?
