Some countries players belt out their national anthem but the England players barely mumble ours.
Why is this?
Could it have anything to do with the words?

They should choose a better song. Maybe something from snoop doggy dogg, dr dre, nwa etc. The English national anthem is really boring, I wouldn't sing it either.
Maybe most of them are Republican atheists.

It is worse than boring the lyrics are subservient to the queen. The queen doesn't rule over us. We have a democratically elected government who are supposed to govern the country. They don't rule over us!
And we are largely a secular country. I doubt too many footballers go to church on a Sunday.
