all the matches in a group ended in exactly the same score
so every team ended up on the same points with exactly the same
goal difference and the same head to head record
just wondered / possible as only 3 games each

after goals scored it's the head to head result, if all of those are tied fifa draw lots

dosent the head of each of the 4 football associations write how much they will pay to qualify to next round in an envelope and shove it under blatters door?

If they do actually draw lots and it's done fairly it's the best way. Before they used to use the coefficients. Well I know they did in Euro 96 anyway.

In Group A of the 1992 Asian Cup, Japan and UAE finished 1st and 2nd level on points and Goal Difference. They drew 0-0. I've been unable to find out how they split them, so far.
