Surely if Scotland can beat Croatia away from home, Brazil can surely do the business tonight?

Maybe someone will mention to the ref that there will be riots and the World Cup will be ruined if Brazil fail to win the opening game.

Croatia are unreal odds at the 16's. Wouldn't be surprised if the Croats won, Spain lost their first game of the last world cup went on to win in 2010 & France drew their first 2 games when they were RU in 2006

I can't see Brazil losing this game. In their last 6 games Croatia have lost to Scotland 2-0, drew with Iceland and Switzerland and beat the might Australia and Mali 1-0 and 2-0 respectively. Also they didn't exactly hammer Iceland in the reverse fixture 2-0.

Contrast that to Brazil putting 5 past Honduras and South Africa, 4 past Panama, beating Chile, Serbia and Zambia. Remember the might Engerland couldn't find their way past a 10 man Honduras last week and also lost to Chile. With the home crowd roaring them on it's got to be a Brazil win for me.
