German attacking options

Think we are all guessing at the moment especially with Reus now injured. Wouldn't be surprised if a different team starts every group game as well given the harsh conditions for their games. Fancy Klose top scorer but don't think he will start first game so may drift.

I'm working on the assumption that Khedeira and Schweinsteiger will both hold and Ozil is guaranteed to start. Then it's 3 from Muller, Kroos, Gotze, Schurrle, Podolski and Klose. I'd guess Muller is pretty certain to start. What options!

think he will go with Muller and Schurrle.  Schurrle has a very good ratio of games/ goals

podolski and klose are usually subs these days

klose only needs 20 minutes at the end to score a goal. bring him and podolski on when the opposition is falling asleep. podolski whips in a cross and klose tickles it in. works every time.

It could be the case that the 'subs' get just as much game time in the group stages as those considered the starters. Germany play their 3 games in the most testing conditions they play the toughest side Portugal 1st, then Ghana and finish up with the easiest game on paper the U.S.A. Ozil or one of the others who are considered 1st 11 may play 70 minutes against Portugal and Ghana and then if Germany have qualified or only need a draw may be rested against the U.S.A. Whereas the 'subs' could only get 20-25 minutes in the 1st 2 games but then get a full 90 minutes against the weakest team in the group who could be already going home.

i think the Germans will be seriously affected by the weather.

They have 1.00pm Kick offs twice and play all 3 of  their group games in the hottest parts of northern Brazil.

Germany are a massive lay to win the tournament and to qualify from the group. Don't back any of their players to do anything except take an early flight home.

They'd be mad to leave Götze out. He's the one player they have with magic in his boots.

I agree that Germany will not be suited to the match times and locations.
The average height of the Germany squad (outfield) is 185cm/6'1" (that includes Lahm 170cm and Gotze 171cm).
My guess is heat will affect large players more.
