do the results of these matches, with also players getting injured and missing out, in any way affect your betting thought process for the up and coming tournament...

No. Those matches are just to keep the players match fit in the gap between the end of the domestic seasons and the tournament, and possibly for the manager to try out different formations.
My bets were placed weeks ago. If a team is going to win the World Cup it will be a squad effort, so one or two players will make little difference. |
