looks like Falcao isn't fit, he's drifted in the top scorer market, Martinez has got to be worth a bet now that he'll be the main man
|
|
By:
but is Martinez going to be the main man, they might go with a front 3 of Rodriguez, Bacca and Gutierrez?
|
|
By:
Yeah. Falcao pulled out of squad.

who will play ?! hard to guess looking at recent line ups, Martinez hasn't scored for Colombia in over a year but scored 60 in the last two seasons for Porto.
Bacca had a good season for Seville, maybe he will be their main striker ? Gutierrez hasn't scored many domestically in the South American leagues but is highly rated |

By:
perhaps Bacca at 150 is a good Top Goalscorer bet, and hes still 7/1 to be top Colombia scorer with Martinez now 4/1 fav

"Martinez hasn't scored for Colombia in over a year"
To be fair mate he only started 2 or 3 of the qualifiers, and made sub appearences another 3 I think. At least one was in the 90th min. |

By:
fair point, though hard to say that Martinez has had a better season that Bacca?
If Martinez does start then the 80/1 top goalscorer price will look very decent.... |
|
By:
all of this is assuming Colombia have a good tournament without their star man, which I'd be a bit sceptical about.

this was known months ago that their main player was not going to be fit , however they have now made it offcial to the general public.....now the public have a chance to lay them ...though at a big number lol...these are the sheep getting involved now...

Colombia price quite attractive now at nearly 50.
Falcao clearly a loss, but relatively easy group, 2nd in qualifying, home continent WC. Bit of value I'd say. |
