options on the best way to do it

1. Get as much as I can on with Lads - money back if Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar or Suarez top score
2. Same as above with Coral - money back if Argentina win
3. Wait for someone to stick their necks above the parapet and offer 4/1

Any free offer is worth taking.
Ive took the offer of money back £25 if Argentina or Brazil win,Ive backed Spain
Gonna back Germany,Brazil n Argentina to green up on top four.
Cant see past big four.
Will take advantage of other offers this week.

Check the t's and c's MC. Lads and Coral offer is money back as a free bet maximum £25.
Report bardo June 2, 2014 2:12 PM BST
rather than lumping on them in the outright you can get much better odds on backing them in straight forecast markets

Brazil-Spain is available at 22-1

Spain -Brazil is 28-1

But I'd have to cover so many different options...
Report padlock June 2, 2014 6:19 PM BST
thinking someone will go 7/2 at least this week
name the finalists was a bit of value lately imo
Report toffee87 June 2, 2014 6:54 PM BST
the offers usually coincide with the racing post pullout on Thursday - I'm hoping for some 6/1 Argentina
Report padlock June 2, 2014 7:41 PM BST

Im sure before the last WC Betfred pushed Brazil out to a standout price and said "id hold it as long as possible". Think the price lasted a day before it got cut again. I can definitely see someone doing it this year, closer to it starting.

Presuming Brazil win the group as expected without disrespecting Mexico, Cameroon or Croatia their next opponents will obviously be the runner up from the Spain, Chile or Holland group with the Aussies well out of their depth, obviously the majority think Spain should win the group but I think Chile look a  bit of a tricky side here looking at recent results and could easily be second and play Brazil but they might even win the group and give themselves an easier last 16 assignment leaving Spain or Holland to take on Brazil in the last 16, either way the progress  won't be straightforward for Brazil as their last 2 encounters with Chile ended 2-2 and a narrow 2-1 victory.
Brazils half of the draw certainly looks far tougher than Argentina's as the Argies not only have a virtual bye in their group its that weak they have a virtual bye in the last 16 and they will not meet any serious opposition till the last 8 leaving their players a lot fresher than teams playing in the other half of the draw.
Report Kerrygold June 3, 2014 4:23 PM BST
not sure if you know this but Chile's best player has not kicked a ball in 3 weeks..... looks like he will be struggle to be match fit- its a tough group they are in... spain and holland in no particaular order though holland might struggle later in knockout ..they prob have enough to get through against chile who will miss their best player as he wont be match fit

yeah brazil have relative easy group but after that it gets very diff - one slip up for bra or spain and they could meet each other...what a game that will be
Report 247lol June 3, 2014 5:19 PM BST
Interesting about Chile could be a straightforward Spain/Holland 1/2 then, they could not have made it much tougher for Brazil the way i read  Brazils games after your last post could well be last 16 Holland last 8 Italy semi final Germany or France final Spain or Argentina Lol.

Brazils likely path to the final once the qualify as group winners... momentum is key

Last 16   Holland or Spain

Quarter  England or Italy

Semis     France or Germany

Final       Spain or Argentina

I expect them to make the semis at least..  although I think Germany, Spain and Argentina are 3 sides who could beat them in the semis or final.
