A fine goal by Brian Laudrup in the 1986 World Cup: Denmark 6-1 Uruguay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn0PS85pvqw
I worked with a Danish guy in the early 1990s and we were talking about football. He was surprised I remembered this match. Who wouldn't? We discussed Preben Elkjaer, Laudrup, Jesper Olsen, Soren Lerby. I told him Denmark tore Uruguay a new one. I had to explain. He said "that is a good description".

Can anyone remember this goal? It was a corker, but I can't remember who scored it, or for what team. It was a ball across the goal to the back stick from the left to the right. The ball fell on the volley to the right foot of the striker on the back post and he made to volley it from about 6 yards out but at the last second brought the ball down with this right instep and tapped it into a virtually open net with his left foot as both the keeper and a defender had chucked themselves at what they thought was going to be his right-footed volley.
If it's any help I think it was either Switzerland or Czech Republic and I think it was probably 20-odd years ago. The scorer could have been someone like Tyukyilmaz, Skuhravy or Chapuisat.
