Not a happy man this morning guys :(

Im usually a horses man but backed Spain to win last night with the last of my Balance £77.63 @ 2.12 to win £87

And they did win but were the hell is my money???

I thought it was as simple as if I back spain and they win I would of won. I am very confused.

I backed spain to win and they did so why has Betfair taken my money?

Thanks in advance for replies.

Thanks juzzybee for putting that in a simple way.

I think Betfair could of given me a bit more info about what I was actually betting on.

To the other two guys, thanks for the dig! I just feel lucky that I can make that sort of money in an hour at work. And am back now with my feet up having a nice cup of tea :)

Cheer up pro1000,

I wouldn't let a silly thing like this spoil your whole morning. You're correct though, Betfair should have given you more info when placing your bet.  Perhaps a quick call to confirm you fully understood the bet was to win in 90 mins? Makes you wonder what their Customer Service department actually do?!

Anyway, must crack on.  I guess you're a busy man too.  Get your head down at work, do your 8 hours today and that'll be another £700 earned.  It's an easy life!

Hope your afternoon improves and you can put this whole sorry episode behind you.  You'll know next time not to trust Betfair!

Kind regards

If you call them and tell them it was all a mistake, I'm sure they'll give you your money back.
