I am not very experienced with how it would work, but what i think is following:
Back Villa @ 1.90 - 20 Euro
Back Sneijder @ 3.7 - 10 Euro

If none score: winning 4.5 (villa) + 6.75 (sniejder) = 11.25
If Villa scores: winning 18 on Villa - 10 loss on sneijder = 8
If snijder scores: winning 27 on sneigher - 10 loss on villa = 17

Is the logic flawed somewhere? please point out.

Regards,
Ben

sorry, forgot to mention, i am talking about world cup top scorer market... since they are both at top already, it should work out dead heat rule... i.e. 1/4th of winning.

if none score,

1/4 stake on villa at 1.9 = 9.5 euro back
1/4 stake on sneijer at 3.7 = 9.25 euro back
=11.25 euro loss

you are right in thinking that in this situation, if dh rules were 1/4 odds and not 1/4 stake, you would be onto a free money cash cow. but they arent. for exactly this reason.

i would imagine betfair will adopt FIFA's ruling of giving the golden boot to the player with most assists, which would be thomas mueller at the moment with 3, but im not sure of this, good luck

I don`t think so; otherwise Forlan wouldn`t be
in the betting still.

a bit confusing as you go to "Golden Boot" on oddschecker site and you get taken to "Highest Scorer".  I think you would have to look up the rules for the bookie you are using.  Otherwise some may be dissapointed tonight.  Lets hope for an outright winner.
