ITV coverage has been superior to BBC in this tourno. BBC saved by Klinsmann and Seedorf appearances only.
But as far as commentary goes, Guy Mowbray and Clive Tydlesley are both dreadful so the only solution is watch the BBC on digital and set it up with FiveLive commentary.

why would anyone watch it on i.t.v,- they are always the worst, and the adverts alone is a big reason, what fasinates me - who actually does watch it on i.t.v,cant they find remote, they must be really laid back people i.e. the finals on ,just leave it on here ,its the same match ,

mind you if mick macarthy is anywhere near a microphone then - this could swing it.imagine its 13-12 with 10 mins to go ,and mick pops up with - they ve not done the final justice, too defensive,i m glad its over,

he lives in a constant state of negativity, misery - how roy keane didnt knock him out is beyond me.

Yep, don't know how anyone wants to watch an advert for toilet cleaning products rather than match analysis....

BBC.

Tyldsley and Beglin are a disaster.  I always used to watch itv when it was big ron and brian moore as i found Motson too predictable.  But they are clueless these days.  bbc make some terrible choices however with the likes of Mick Mccarthy and his idiotic comments,  "he got the ball" (but not before breaking their opponents ankle.  He really is a complete tool.

Watch Beaches (with Bette Midlier) on Channel 4.
That's what all the boys will be talking about at work on Monday.
Real emotional drama.

I thought Lee whats-his-name was a bit lightweight for a WC Final but the thought of watching townsend kiss desailly 'arris for the next 2 hours...it's a no brainer

I like Childs, he adds some intelligence and questions like a normal punter, that his panel try to answer.  Lineker, although also very cool and calm, seems to know the answers already!

The ads also kill ITV for me, I switch over to BBC when ads are on!

Yet to decide on commentary channel!

ITV - the adverts mean I hear less of the hired clowns.

Watching the BBC would mean I hear more discussion from the hired clowns.

A normal punter has doesn't add intelligent. A normal punter is a thick pr*ck. A normal punter uses too many exclamation marks.

I've changed to ITV, game is dull enough without Lawrenson dragging it further down the entertainment stakes
