David Villa
Andres Iniesta
Xavi
Arjen Robben
Wesley Sneijder
Bastian Schweinsteiger
Mesut Ozil
Diego Forlan
Asamoah Gyan
Lionel Messi

How is Messi on the list?

Gyan would be an interesting outsider

iniesta has been shyte

i have been tracking him every game since the bbc pundits claimed he was the best passer in the world early in the tournament

missplaced 6 passes v germany

and has conceeded posession dozens of times this tournament

how the fecking hell is he nominated
Report checkAA_ July 9, 2010 3:45 PM BST
the general media seemed to pick him out as ghanas best player...i thought he was their weak link...they created a lot of chances for him which he missed and rarely picked out a pass

I'll have a bit of 33/1 on Bastian Schweinsteiger
Report db1974 July 9, 2010 3:56 PM BST
The problem here IMO is that I can't see the Golden Boot winner getting it but I CAN see whoever of Villa or Sneijder DOESN'T win the Golden Boot getting it.

I don't think it's worth dutching them both at under 1/2 though

Xavi for me
Report budgiebird. July 9, 2010 4:18 PM BST
Forlan has to be the value at 33/1. Most of the voting will take place before the final, so the Uruguayan and German contenders will have an advantage and a match winning performance in tomorrow's game, with perhaps a goal or two could clinch it.

Only downside is that Forlan is still an injury doubt.

10 seems excessive

Why hasn't Betfair got a market up for this?

Or am I blind?

Gyan was poor in the world cup scored  couple of penalties and ran around like a mug. Xavi has been my player of the tournement.
