There is a slight possibility fifa will take this goal away from Schneider. It was possibly going wide til it took a deflection. Therefore the complete opposite of the goal he was awarded the other night.

only jokin' sparagus, the deflection is after about a yard, who knows where the jubbylani beach ball goes after that

have to agree on the basis of what they did with goal aganst brazil, this one has to be taken away...

Just played it back two or three times. The ball appears to be heading for the near post before the deflection. It might be poetic justice if they took it from him, but it would be very harsh.

Howie, having just seen it again I'm pretty sure it was going wide. However, I tend to agree that because the deflection was so soon after schneider shot that he will keep the goal tho. Certainly a very debatable one tho.

dont see how near deflection can make a difference......as long as it can be determined that it was going wide?
