Often seems to be a surprise semi-finalist, but they never raise their game enough to make the final. I do think that they believe they have gone as far as they deserve and don't have the mentality that they ought to be contesting the final. eg:-
'86 - Belgium '90 - England '94 - Bulgaria '98 - Croatia '02 - Turkey & Sth Korea Can see the same old story tonight, but similar to the opening group game, the risk of defeat is too great and will mean that under 2.5 is most likely. Probably 1-0 to Holland for me. |

i've looked at the goals markets as well, dont see the outright for the game as too much value but should be an interesting game - hopefully holland in the 9 minutes edging it, depends on what the uruguay stamina is after there game against ghana - could that be a factor at all??

I thought the teams in that list had a fair go at it (particulary England and Croatia) , Turkey played well enough too. Though i do think they don't have the same belief in that situation.
The most negative were Sweden in 1994. |

Uruguay to qualify at 3.7.
I reckon they might hold on for 90 mins, then its 50/50 in extra time/or pens Lots of nervous tension & pressure for both sides, so 3.7 not bad value, compared to Holland at 1.36. If Uruguay score first, lay them |
