l thought they would use llorente more but i reckon he will drop torres for fabregas.

I think if Torres starts spain could be in danger. Id expect spain to go 4-5-1 with fabregas starting. Think that will give them a better chance of stoping germany.

There to much talent in spain's team for them to be in danger. Germany/Spain 50/50 match.

Surely they can not risk him against Germany. Spain only start play when villa is center and torres subbed. If he start Spain are lay at least to he leave pitch.

Coming back from injury and being thrown into the deep end in a WC is something else than playing against Everton or the like to get your touch going, i.e match fitness. |

I meant match fit. Would not be playing if not fit. Torres always takes a while to get back into the grove. Easier in the premership.

how the fk do ppl really think spain have been lucky as well.. so they havetn won every game 3 or 4 nil and paraguay played well against them so what.. do ppl thnk these teams should win every game easily?

Torres should not be playing at all imo,nowhere near match fit for such an important game.Manager seems to have been using him for an hour to try and tire defenders and give Villa more space.May have worked ok,but this game is different kettle of fish,and they cant afford that luxury of playing with a liability,which to me he is at the moment.

no offence bud i like you as your not nasty like some are on here.. but stop making excuses for players like torres when rooney has been as bad, is prob injured given all the evidence and ppl like you wont mention it at all :) |

Why else would he play a hopelessly out of form player that is not match fit or even maybe fit at all??
I cant think of a reason. Not sticking up for him,hes been awful.Just trying to fathom out why he has been playing him,these aint friendlies!! |

so why arent all the england fans on here using this as a reason for rooneys poor show when we all know if he was truly fit hed have been booked at least three times for shocking tackles and running around like a d1ckhead?
no idea why torres is playing.. to be honest to me his mind looks elsewhere.. not had the verve and zip he shows in the league.. same for most prem players though.. |
