Germany are great, played the best footie by a mile so far. Have made loads from them backin them at unreal prices against england and the argies. But take heed they will not beat spain who have so much more to give. Spain have the best team in the world with only one weakness i.e torres but i think we have seen the last of torres.
I'm hoping for a complete 5-0 destruction of Spain, for the singular reason of watching David Villa cry like a baby. He's ten times more annoying than Ronaldo, and I REALLY hate that chimpfaced little cheat. Villa is a faceslapping, diving, gay-satan-facial-hair wearing, unsporting, self-obsessed little fookbag. Hopefully he gets his leg snapped during the match for extra happiness. For me, I mean.

yeah but that was 1-0 going on 10. it was an absolute annihilation. people getting carried away with the germans. beaten 2 shambolic disorganised sides.
Latched on to Germany after beating Australia 4-0.
Since then they have done me proud, esp against Argentina. I am a novice at football betting but i cant see why Spain are favourites and also that the betting favours under 2.5 goals as well. I was predicting to my mate a kicking for Spain.

The Germans will score early on as they did in the last 2 games

first goal is very important, as we've seen if you are chasing the game against germany then you have problems
however i'm far from convinced they'll look as good if they are trying to battle from behind

Agree with the comment about this being a World Cup Semi-Final, so it will be very tight - 1-0 either way or possibly going to pens...

OMG Spain a one man team? I simply cant believe anyone would write that. Spain have 5/6 WORLD CLASS players and the rest are top internationals. They have performed pretty average but Switzerland aside (which they utterly dominated btw) they have strolled to the semis. Just because Villa is the top of his game right now you label his team a one man team. Simply rubbish. Xavi, Alonso, Busquettes, Iniesta could play for pretty much any club team in the world. Granted they havent played AMAZING. If Torres doesnt start and Spain get the first goal they have every chance. To say they have no chance is laughable. The End of Thread comment merely marks you out as a fool.

the difference between England, Argie and Spain is their respective midfields. Germany dominated the middle of the park against both teams. The English midfield was / is slow and laboured and Argentina don't really have one. In Busquests, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, the Spanish certainly do. I quite fancy Spain although what is certain is that this game will be very different to the Germans previous two. Writing off Spain is patently ridiculous
A 50/50 game the only difference is that if Spain go behind they will keep their shape and might well get back into the game as oppossed to England/Argentina running around like headless chickens, despite their phases of dominance.

Hope Germany roll Spain but once again another step up in class for the German side. Be happy with 2-1 instead of the usual 4 goal thrashing.
Glad that some sanity was restored after I commented, Sunset this is a football thread I dont give 2 *****s anbout any other opinions. It just seems that in this case you are being ridiculous and once again popular opinion backs me up. This has not been a bad world cup. Its eneded as a match between the most skillful and the prettiest team to watch against the team with the most stunning method.
I am a huge spain fan, they play the game in a way that is so easy to watch. I was a bit surprised that they were so much better than the Germans - they really did out class them, and I was of the view that the game would be close after the way the germans thrashed England and Argentina.
They should not be troubled to beat Holland in the final.
What a team Spain are though - Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Villa,- its impossible for the others to stop them all. Amazing defensively too, they defend from the front and to see the Germans with all their fitness and strength, ending up very tired from running around trying to get the ball was just amazing.
