I've backed Germany and Argentina to win. Both prices have moved in the right direction for me. Now they are playing each other should I trade out for a profit on both or one or neither? What do others usually do in this situation?

Depends how much margin you have. You could let the result go and then back the other semi finalist and then back whoever they play in the final.
I backed Holland for 17s but rather than lay off at 9s I have backed Brazil to win the final also. I will take this through to the final and hopefully walk with a bigger profit! thats the plan anyway.

How can the Germans be nearly the same price to beat the Argies as they were to beat England?

Beating England is little more than selling class. They are taking a jump straight to Group class and should be laid heavily.

I have a position on Germany.  When the groups were decided and they got England I increased my position at 16s but when they won I laid them to recover my bets and make a small profit.

My profit on a Germany win is forty times my profit on any winner.  What to do?  The first two quarter finals are on Friday so the Germany price might move a bit after those matches.  I'll wait and see.

What I might do is lay Germany if they score first.  If Argentina scores first I will have a good cry.

The prices might fluctuate over the next few days.  You could set up two lays at a little under their current prices to take advantage of any fluctuations.
