Well if results went differently, they could have been playing the USA or Slovenia, which would have been a but trickier for them.

The're lucky the didn't win about 8-2 as they could have done and have the pressure of being favourites against Argentina.

So the Germans have said that England's "goal" being disallowed is fine and acceptable as it was simply Karma for the Russian Linesman Incident in '66.
