if Owen & Beckham & Rio Were not injured and were playing on the pitch againt germany i dont think germnay would win that easily
capello is a stupid manager he put defoe instaed of crouch and no lennon or right philips or jo cole to start instead he put out unexperienced players against a world class team
clearly defoe was the wrong choice to play with rooney upfront
he hardly got a touch of the ball
and why didnt he call paul scoles and bobby zomora
i think capello should be sacked

After a night to think about it Rio was a major loss, we didnt have any decent replacements, I also think glen johnson was very poor in defense, not strong enough to be part of a back 4.
But at end of day its managers fault, a 3 5 2 would of been a far better formation against the germans, with crouch in the middle and rooney down the right.
