Football in England is a game for the rich and privileged, not the game of the people it once was. The bottom line is, the fans and public have total control if they want it. All fans turn up to your ground and point blank refuse to pay more than 5 quid admission. Likewise with sky, cancel it. The poor players will have to manage on 5k a week tops. As long a the public mugs are prepared to dip deeper into their pockets, the game continues to be strangled to death by the mega money makers
