Messi is without a doubt the most talented player at the world cup, its only a matter of time before his genius produces goals. One of the main factors for his lack of success at international level is due to his manager being a total nutcase. His career has been totally nurtured at Barca through the stability of the academy bosses and more recently guardiola at the top. Never has a player achieved so much at such a young age (league goals record, champions league, domestic titles) and seemed so grounded. A lot of people remember the insane talents of Ronaldo (buck-tooth brazilian version) and the way that he dramatically flopped at the world cup final in 98 due to the pressure, Messi just seems to be made out of something totally different. Even the new Ronaldo (portugese pretty boy winker) seems to fail consistently at the highest level, both in the champions league later stages and international stage. Messi is light years ahead of anyone, including all his team mates that he will be playing with tonight. He seems to link up with Higuain more than any other player in the squad, probably due to them both playing similar types of football at the heights of the Spanish league.
