frank lampard was the best player wearing red today. should have been captain before gerrard , has always been hamstrung by stevie g invading his space. its always been obvious that lampard and gerrard dont compliment each other when on the same team. also after the game was over he appeared to be the only english player to engage the german players in conversation . also came across as the only player with brains when being interviewed on tv. frank will go on to manage england and could be the man to lead them to lift the jules rimet trophy. remember where you heard it first !!

tbf he was as noticeable as the rest.
Im not sure whether he played well. I dont like Gerrard but at least he made some surging runs into the box, if lampard did not take a free kick he was only on the pitch once. I would like to point out that Fwank is world class for chelsea, he has much to thank that club for imo. |
