I fancy the Dutch will take this one as they are traditionally good starters in World Cups and have a decent array of attacking talent that should be good enough to score goals v Denmark.

What are people's thoughts on this??

Looks a likely win but have my doubts about the price although i'd have em around 1.73 ish

makes more sense to back them to win the group at a similar price IMO but they are very likely to do both I feel

Most will fancy the Dutch but Denmark are no Australia.  Do you really think Denmark have less chance than Australia did tonight ............no way.  So 1.54 is bad.

Quite like the guy aboves comment on backing them to win the group instead.

Denmark were very lucky to make it to the WC and should be hammered but the dutch. They were beaten by Australia 2 weeks ago by the way.

Any team with Bendtner and Tomasson up front are going to get tonked.

Bank job on Holland.

I fancy the dutch but price seems too short. The danes have won their opening games of last 3 major tournaments and also 5 of last 6 head 2 heads have ended in a draw.

i can see this being tighter than most people think...denmark are no pushovers, they dont concede many, and qualified from a very tough group which included portugal & arch rivals sweden...

holland are without robben, denmark are without tomasson & bendtner...

both sides normally start tournaments well, but i can see denmark frustrating holland here, a low scoring game is my call

I know its a friendly but Denmark lost to Australia a few weeks back 1-0, they did dominated possesion but had no finishing ability

"denmark are without tomasson & bendtner"

Should improve Denmark's chances then.

That was such a pedestrian first half, its hardly the beautiful game at its best. Where is the passion and commitment, looks like a Sunday afternoon stroll in the park to me, have Holland managed a shoot on goal yet. So far Germany the onlt team to play good football.
