england were comfortably the better side(more so in the 2nd half). without greens blunder they probably woulda won cosily. as i se it apart from not getting the win the real worrying thin is terry and carrigher may play together and that double lack of pace coiuyld be a real problem.hopefully kng will recover for the nexty game and the rest of the tourney.i aso fear we will continue with heskey doing well but never scoring.we werent brilliant but we played more than well enuff to win the game.

i never said we WILL win the world cup, just that we werent awfull tonite.
He can say it all he wants. But as bad as England's goalkeepers are from top to bottom this was an accident waiting to happen.
Both goals were due to poor defending.
Trouble is we lack depth to the squad and the quality we need is there in four or five players. A couple of suspentions or injuries or decent oppsition and it's a plane home.
