Mine is Mexico to win thier Group at 3/1

IMO it's a steal

France are either great or craap...nothing in between.

My guess is the latter..managed by a nutter..older than Ghandi in many spots

Mexico look a solid outfit and played well v Ingerland and Ital amongst others..real dark horses in the outright imo also but the 3/1 is simply the wrong price imo...

I would price this group up at

6/4 France
6/4 Mexico
4/1 Uraguay
7/1 Bananna Bananna

FWIW the only other bets I have are

Holland 14/1 outright

Van Persie 28/1 Top scorer
Huntelar 66/1 Top Scorer

I would like to play a few more markets but not really a big enough Kevball fan to do the research so interested to see what the combined brains of the Kevball forum think

Group E to be the highest scoring group @9.8

Holland could score about ten here (and they are likely to ship a few). Denmark could make hay against Japan and Cameroon (and also let in a few). And there could be a few goals when Japan and Cameroon play each other. Could be about 28 goals scored in this group....:)

if france get there act together they have the players to win, , celtic bookermakers have them at 25/1 to win out which is a bigger price then betfair, being irish i dont wont them to win,BUT do patriotism and gambleing go together/?i leave the answer to the forum to decide. frank
Report SatelliteFlight June 10, 2010 11:43 AM BST
no quite obviously NOT!!! if ya think France are overpriced at 25/1 i suggest you back them.

For what its worth i think they may struggle to get out of the group but thats just me.

Paraguay are big value to win Group F and big value to beat Italy in their 1st game [;)]

3) beat Mexico in q-f
4) lose to Brazil in Semi's

Surprised at the lay Germany to qualify theory. Their record in qualifying suggests they're solid against supposedly inferior opposition.

They have a great draw and look Quarter Finalists at worst to me.

Thinking of having a small interest on the outright.

Algeria at around 10/11  to finish bottom of Group C - they have been woeful of late and are up against three teams capable of scoring goals from a few positions.

Group H at 4-1 to be highest scoring group - Spain obviously capable of rattling up cricket scores, Chile very attacking and full of goals, with Honduras defence one of the worst in the competition. Worth having a saver on Group C at 13-2, for similar reasons as the Algeria bet.

A World Cup Hat-trick @1.38 is like finding money in the street - think has been one at every WC bar 1. The likes of algeria are cherry ripe to be pillaged early doors.
Report g_10 June 11, 2010 5:16 AM BST
Group with most goals - group A, the rank outsider, available at 11/1. Not only do three decent attacking sides get to have a crack at the weakest hosts ever, Mexico and Uruguay are great going forward but not so good defensively, and i have serious doubts about the Gauls. No way this group should be last in the betting.

Steam in chaps.
Report charwell. June 11, 2010 1:37 PM BST
I also think Spain at 4.4 to score most goals is good value. Free scoring team, should make at least SF & in my mind most likely winners.
