Will it result in more goals being scored than previous Cups? That and the new ball are tempting me to buy in the total goals market.

in Mexico 86 players had trouble keeping the ball down when shooting because the new ball was lighter and (aside from England's group) games were at altitude. at to that I would think teams tire more easily with lower oxygen levels, so late effort is less likely
