Given the record of the host nations 7/1 looks very big. Its a fairly open group they are in. 3 other teams don't have the most solid defences but are good going forward leading to open games possibly

I appreciate South Africa have struggled with scoring goals recently but think they will get a bit of help by the referees.
If they do go out in group stages its likely they may get the occasianal penalty or free kicks given to them to give them a chance of qualifying or if they are getting beat 3-0 etc. to even things up a bit and make it look less embarrassing.

Fifa will be going out of their way to help them and in an open group think its likely they will get at least 4 goals and based on that 7/1 for 6 or more looks overpriced.
