Backed the Netherlands and I think they are still decent value so not inclined to lay. Instead I am looking at ways to cover the bet because they can be somewhat unreliable over the course of 4 weeks.
Already covered stake with bet on Spain.
Think the Dutch will start well whatever else happens and expect them to walk their group 1.6x is value and have had a good bet on that.
Italians might be the sort of team that could cause Dutch problems by suffocating them and they would meet in R2 if Italy don't win group so I have laid Italy at 1.56 and backed Paraguay at 4.5. Would be much less worried about Paraguay as I think they are liable to concede.
If Brazil win their group, they will meet in quarters so as much as I expect the Dutch midfield to run rings round them I have backed Brazil at 1.65 to win their group - if they fail to do so it's Portugal or Ivory Coast for a path through to semis.
A lot of imponderables by now but not entirely linked to the NL bet, I have taken on England in the group at 1.38 and backed USA (95) and Serbia (70) in the outrights with a view to getting out later.
If NL make it to the semis, I will stay on their side but guarantee a decent profit.
Anyone else doing similar?

i would have been more inclined to back slovakia rather than paraguay...
looks decent enough though, unless, as u say, italy play holland in round 2, where i think the italians would knock out holland...
i would be looking to lay holland at round 2 if they play italy, or at the 1/4 finals if they play brazil
