I have in the past placed many an accumulator on group winners, 90min outcomes, teams to qualify etc but have always been let down due to my pursuit of ''value'' selections, which of course have always let me down. So, my new tactic is to pick all the teams that I dem as certainties to qualify, (if only such a thing existed in betting). Here goes:
Brazil 1.1 Argentina 1.11 Spain 1.04 England (to win group)1.34 Holland 1.13 Germany 1.22 Italy 1.09
Combined odds of 2.62!!
Your thughts gentlemen, on the bet and my plan in general??
what is your logic for doing 6 to qualify and then throwing in England to win group??
If it's only to bump the returns up a bit then I'd say Spain to win group at app 2/7 is a better proposition that England at a similar price.
FWIW I have 6-team accy with all favs to wins groups except France and Germany.
be lucky.

Snap, exactly the same as I'm doing this year. did the same last W.Cup and it came in, although France were touch and go in their last game so it was nervy! Gives some interest in almost every game as well

you say you are always let down in pursuit of value but then stick england in to win the group instead of just to qualify, kidding yourself that you've changed your betting strategy will be your downfall. no offense intended but we've all been here before.
