yeah I have morissey - it's one of the reasons they're in the UCL final. And he dovetails perfectly with Mascherano. The choice of defenders is idiotic. Colocchini gets in, Zanetti and Gabi Milito do not.

Watched all their qualifiers - totally chaotic. No cohesion, no system... a desperate mess. They were excellent in the first 2 qualifiers, when Riquelme was still the axis and it was pretty much the side that lit up the 2006 WC. Maradona used over 70 players. He even gave Ortega a game the other day. Surprised he hasn't called up Caniggia.
Anyone who has seen the Argies play under Diego would not back them at this WC. With a decent coach they have the personnel to be brilliant, but with Diego it's all about who he's mates with - Palermo, Veron, Gutierrez, Colocchini... just 4 ridiculous selections (and 2 will start) given the abundance of talent he has bafflingly decided to ignore. |

johnnyrant i agree.. i couldnt have them at all with this clown in charge.. i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt get out of their group either but thats more a lack of any faith in the coach and his stupididty than the players..
