terry and rio are nailed on to start every game providing they are fit. upson will go as capello seems to like him. i certainly would take king as cover. if terry gets sent off in a quarter or semi final, king is the only person i would be sure could do a great job. all be it for one game.

king would play 1 game then need 2 weeks to recover, he is always injured.

id take sol as he would also be able to cover at right back if needed

But apparantely all the other countries in the World Cup have started a petition to get Sol picked for England's 23 to go to South Africa. In fact they have insisited, in this petition, that Sol starts every game.
