Think their a massive bet, if they can use Maradona as a team motivator and get in a tactician think the Argies should a 5/1 chance.

They have the best player in the world at the mo aswel.

players like Tevez,Macherano,Heinze,Samuel,Messi,Aguero.......

double digit prices is screaming value to me

Messi - Best player in the world

Tevez/Aguero - One of these plays maximum, possibly neither

Macherano - good player

Heinze - Rubbish

Samuel - Rubbish

They also have Higuain who is very good and players like Lopez/Milito who are also good. Unfortunately all their good players are in the same position. Their 1st XI is pretty average with or without Maradona imo. They are the right price.

Maradona is not the issue imv.... How do you think his players will react to listening to their biggest idol of all when he utters words such as...

"I tell my players that 30 days of sacrifice for the chance to kiss the World Cup is nothing in the life of a man. An achievement like that is like touching the sky. I played in World Cups and I reached two Finals. I know what it takes. I know how to lead the group and how to coach the players. I've earned the right to talk about the subject. I didn't come eighth, ninth or get knocked out in the first round. I know something about this." Coach Diego Maradona

The problem with idols, is when you get to know them, they dont always meet your expectations.

Especially when they are doing a completely different job to what they became famous for!

have watched this team for a fair while now - will be very surprised if they put it together... they are the sort of team that flatters to deceive - lots of quality but team work is non existant - they need to tighten up at the back which is a big if at this stage .

could get knocked out in the first round if they are not careful - would not bet them at 12's even

complete lemon this bet - has train crash written all over it

when the world cup comes the argies will do alright. i know theyre sh ite ive watched them many times in qualifying but you know when the time comes they'll play well. brazil are the team for me. the argies will do much better than our poor england side, who would do nothing at all if it wasnt for their italian manager
