You're right. England have no chance of winning the World Cup. 5/1 second favourites in the funniest thing I've seen in my life. We've no goalkeeper, a dodgy defence and a striker who can score. I don't see why people can't be realistic when it comes to England? The fans and press overhype them to the max and then they moan when they get knocked out early(which they will).

evertime theres a world cup all the anglophobes come on here spouting about how everone thinks england are going to win it, i stated during the last world cup that didnt know anyboby who thought we would win and i dont know anybody now who thinks we will win it,we have some sort of chance along with about 6 others but i dont think our defence is good enough and i think thats a common opinion.

i must admit, i fancied england fairly strongly a little while back...i still think that we have a reasonable chance in a tournament where once again there are no outstanding sides...i do now however feel that we will just come up a little short...i can see a semi final, or at worst quarter final exit

there are no outstanding sides what do u call spain then . cant c a team beating them just way too classy imo. england couldnt get a kick against them in that friendly
