One aspect to consider for England, should they progress, or any team that play games in Pretoria or Jo'burg, is the altitude. Jo'burg is around 5000ft above sea level, the players will have lungs like crisp bags. It will have an impact on a teams performance, worth considering when lumping on.....

I played in Africa at 4,200 feet for two years (very badly I'll admit).
You can't run around for long, and much of the play is in short spurts. At sea level I could kick a ball from 18 yards and the keeper would have time to adjust his gloves before it arrived. At altitude the keeper could not hold my shot from 25 yards.

That's 600 feet higher than Ben Nevis, highest point in the UK.
