Poor show by Canada, saved by the spirit of the excellent crowds.

Loved it
Eurosport coverage usually very good - puts BBC to shame |

Missed it

great 24 hr coverage on foxtel in Australia
4 channels all live with minimal breaks and replays if you missed anything. On a personal note The womens aerials but loved the biathlon and hockey. |

Great for those with insomnia, rubbish for those who have to do a day job.

the Games were fantastic, plenty of controversy, excitement and some terrific performances but a great shame that a young man lost his life pursuing a dream

Enjoyed it immensely on Eurosport. Every time I flicked over to BBC somthing was going on in slow motion with music in the background or they were telling us 'whats coming up next'

Average, thought i'd enjoy it much more

Most gold medals, and most beautiful women athletes.
Bet people throughout the world didn't know our women are so lovely. Who wouldn't want to make a bobsleigh run with either of Canada's 2 women's bobsleigh teams. |

overall good but canada spoit it a bit with the aggressive 'own the podium' talk. Of course every host wants and usually expects to do well its just a bit ungracious to their guests from the rest of the world to blurt out phrases like this.
also very petty not letting other teams practice on the ice tracks |
|
By:
too much snow imo

|
By:
what wrong with Canada wanting to win?.
|
|
By:
It's not British.

By:
Canadian crowd showed zero class.

I enjoyed watching it. More boarder and skier x needed though.
|
|
By:
I warmed to it as it went on, as I always do with Olympics. Preferred Eurosport coverage.
Loved Ski X & board X very exciting. Cant stand the Nordic long distance skiing very boring. |
|
By:
Long distance and Biathon was fantastic betting. Need a bit of Ahnung though but a bit and some trading skills it was a honey pot. :-)

Without access to the red button or Eurosport most of the time I was at the mercy of BBC2 and its sickening obsession with curling. Now the GB teams have shown what a waste of time and money they are at that will the BBC ditch that sh1te and show some of the more interesting and exciting sports next time? Probably not. Anyone know how much the BBC rubbish cost us?

By:
oh and the canadians shoudl learn that they shoudl not try and put off the opposition in curling finals

Awful commentary from Hugh porter doing the speed skating.Sue barker like like somebody who has been dragged through a hedge backwards and needs to be fazed out along with Hugh.Robin cousins was a bit unbearable aswell.I thought Hazel irvine did a good job though. The canadians accused Miller our gold medal winner of **ing because she had a groove in her hat(whatever) It had been O.K with the officials. Those canadians came over as a bit smug if you ask me with all that self appraisal dross,it made me feel like throwing-up,big heads.
