Won Wengen and I think Whistler is the second longest course they use.
By:
I'm on too, he has the best name.

Does anybody know whether or where this is going to be televised? Im on Janka also at 14's
By:
on bbc tonight i believe. starts at 6.30.
By:
Not sure I fancy Janka, I've picked 3 out to have go with
Generally get a complete shock get involved in the medals, if anyone fancies a big priced guy |

Any idea why Manuel Osborne-Paradis isn't on the betting list?
I've got Janka for top 3 at 4/1 and to win at 14/1. But if Manuel Osborne-Paradis isn't given an odd, does he fall under the "any other" category at 29/1???? |

Well spotted. Now I feel stupid.
Sorry about posting 3 times by the way, my forum name didn't seem to register and I got a bit confused.. lol! |
By:
I've taken Walchofer and Dixon, win and place
Think Dixon could be a dark horse looking at his practise runs and local knowledge. Cuche has looked the class act this year though |
By:
Not to be completely stupid, but the 'top 3' section means I win if they finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd right?
By:
yes, basically your betting on a medal/podium finish
By:
where did you get the training times from jacob please? been looking for a bit for them
By:

cuche missed a gate, which is why he's listed DNF, his time was fast though |

thanks
By:
i am on janka for top 3 :)
By:
Training runs might be a bit misleading. Osborne Paradis said he eased up because he couldnt see the gates at the bottom of the course. That said I expect all the Canadians to go well
By:
Sorry for being stupid but is this just one run, winner takes all or is it an average over two runs?
By:
of course training runs are kind of misleading, but it gives you an idea of who is handling the course well
By:
Only one run. Could be a lottery as they#ve only had one training run of 3. Going to favour the Canadians.
Manuel Osborn Paradis W/P |
By:
to be fair, the downhill is often a bit more of a lottery than other alpine events
I would be laying Bode Miller all day long |

Just know from watching this event in past that so difficult to pick a winner Seem to recall a couple of winners in past have been almost 1st/2nd to go Tommy moe was 1st out years ago when he won if I remember correct |
By:
Miller - he's never lived up to it at the big stage. A low price because he's american/past glory. Hasn't looked anywhere near his old self lately. He has stated he will win a medal in whistler though....although he's bound to
I don't rate him - I have laid him |
