Watched it again, came in under the right hand whip, corrected course as soon as he veered left, won going away in the end.
Shocking honestly. The one from NY a few weeks back was even worse too. |

By:
Let's see what they do here in the last at Santa Anita, IMO the 2 should be DQ to 3rd making it 3-6-2
By:
Can always trust the Californians to get it right
By:
without seeing the scout it looked like the '2nd' lost back legs a little from a minor nudge. It's just a minefield out there.
By:
Quiet unbelievable how they didn't DQ the 5 there race 9 Parx.

By:
Amazing how the 1 kept that at Aqueduct race2, if there was betting post race I'd have backed the runner up at 1/10
By:
Perhaps not quite 1/10, but would have expected it to have been chucked. For the last 30 yards, if anything.

By:
Parx race tonight, looked a cert to be chucked but stood, different day, different panel, different result.

ANOTHER SHOCKER: take a look at Horseshoe Indiana Race 8 from Monday evening where Fav Hard Ride Buy DQ after clear win. At the turn it had come from 5th place on outside to go past 3 horses inside - one of these behind the other two on the inside tried to push out when the fav was already passing it [jock with whip in correct hand and not deviating in - yet loses the decision. At worst it was perfectly ok race riding [why should the fav have given way or travelled wider to allow the other to get out of its trapped position; at best the eventual winner's jockey was guilty of a dangerous manouevre, since it was behind the fav when trying to push out. Bummer as cost me my bank! I dont intend to back in US races again - just too risky with decisions like this that defy common sense
By:
He was DQd for interfering with the 3 in the last 100 yards, nothing to do with the turn in.
By:
it was a poor DQ he's gone a length plus up on the 3, but it may have cost the no.3 2nd place which is how US stewards act.
By:
Fort Erie r5 16/7, how that no.5 doesn't get DQ'd is quite incredible
By:
agree, thought they'd switch that round, 4 separate bumps up the straight. I've said it before it's what the stewards have got on their tickets.
By:
One of the poorest decisions I have seen for a while.
By:
Check out race 9 at Horseshoe Indianapolis last night to see one of the worst DQ's you'll ever see.

The 4 horse nearly got put over the rail by the odds-on fav (1) yet got chucked out. Tremendously brave ride by the 7lb claimer on the 4 horse, a disgraceful decision and no wonder US racing has such a bad reputation.
By:
Ridiculous decision. It was the Fav that caused the interference.
By:
Christ almighty that is shocking
By:
Worst DQ I've seen out there in a long while.

The above race now settled correctly
By:
The Delaware one was harsh, the Saratoga one was harsh, the Gulfstream one was wrong(or at least not really looked at for more than a few seconds)
By:
Thought the Delaware one was the right call, Saratoga was very harsh even for US standards
By:
