The worst DQ I've seen in a long time. Original commentary and side on view admittedly made things look and sound ominous. Head on showed actually zero interference from the winner, the eventual 3rd hung left under his own steam (and whip) causing the contact with the rail horse. Matt Dinerman sounded shocked at the reversal and even said it was a majority decision in the stewards room. Money talks I'd suggest, diabolical decision.

Totally agree with you. I was full sure that they would hang onto to the race. It is clearly evident that the 2nd and 3rd past the post were to blame for the curfuffle.
Just as bad as the recent one at Charles Town, I don't know if you saw that one. Sad way really for Matt to end his time at GG. Definitely a top class race caller. . |

Yeah , a shame for Matt did he say Frank Mirahmadi replacing him for the rest of the season.

I can see what this one got reversed, poor jockeyship, should have kept well away from the fav, he squeezed the fav up.

Jockey on the initial winner gave them reason to overturn it but still shouldn't have IMO. Irad Ortiz does 10x worse in NY and they never pull him up for it.

Yeah, it was very soft. The 1 was never winning. Suspension for the jockey on the 4 more appropriate IMO.

At least Betfair is consistent in regard to video feed from new tracks. Took ages to sort Louisiana Downs out, Presque Isle was a total non runner at all. Fair Grounds total blank so far. Ridiculous. No point in hoping that they have sorted out the Fair Grounds for tomorrow. |

Think they've actually sorted Fair Grounds as it was working on the LV but it wasn't being bet on the Exchange last week so fingers crossed for tomorrow.
