Only argument could be the impeded horse in R6 might have had a chance of a better place whereas in R8 the impeded horse probably could have only hoped for the same place without impediment.

race 8, cleaned out the other horse, race 6 the 3 was going left a bit on its own and was only ever going to be 3rd at best. Amazed Ortiz even bothered with the objection, I'd say he and Cancel are not mates.
